The global situation we are living in and these uncertain days have unconfigured all possible schemes
and proposals, that same situation leads us to internalize and rethink really novel and creative
alternatives.  The same is true of conducting small or large business or domestic work teams, face-
to-face or remote, from the most direct and close positions to the positions occupying the cusp of
the administrative pyramid.


These circumstances invite us to be authentic in the first place, to be ourselves, to share
experiences, questions and processes of discovery, without imposing ourselves or imposed on
others, schemes and preconceived expectations; recipes do not work in difficult times, lead us to be
sincere and open to collaboration, to stop believing ourselves the only intelligent ones, because
through listening to the ideas of others we could obtain fresh, agile and novel proposals that also
create commitment in the team.

A key element is amazement, let’s be able to open ourselves to the discovery of new situations and
ways of seeing and doing things, these days are great in that sense.  Let’s be able to put aside the
concept of “it’s always been done that way” and set out to live each experience differently. Wonder
allows us to develop happiness and motivation by perceiving beauty in the simple or the exceptional,
by letting ourselves be impressed by everything around us, we may not be used to spending time
observing our environment.


One element that helps us in this difficult time is communication through social networks, what at
some point we have criticized for how dependent some have become of these resources, today they
represent a savings table to keep us communicated and operating from any point where we are,
because we maintain the flow of information, either through means that we had previously used or
consider evaluating the characteristics and experimenting with other means of contact, but let us
maintain the bonds that bind us together and if we can use visual resources, much better.

Difficult periods invite us to cooperation and call us to serve others, empathetic, express real
concern for those around you and those who inhabit the same planet.  Perhaps we had lost the
notion of this real cohabitation and interdependence, we may not be able to reach the furthest place
on earth and collaborate, but if we can look up and find ourselves face to face with the struggles and
limitations of those who relate to us daily, let us show real interest and if it is in our hands we lighten
the burden of others.


We are currently loaded with information of all kinds and backgrounds, so it is vital that we be
specific in communicating our objectives and sharing plans and projects.  The signals we issue
cannot be clarified or pointed out as we are usually accustomed because direct communication is
difficult, that is why it is necessary that we have clear ideas and express them unambiguously, in the
simplest and most similar way, facilitating the delegation of tasks and the orientation of the team.

Leading in uncertainty requires transmitting security and trust by assuming the role we have played
in living while looking beyond the present moment to implement all the elements mentioned above
through the creation of networks that build our “being with others”, transmitting serenity, hope and strength in challenging moments, because past the turbulence that we will have taken on new tools
that will help us assimilate new interaction schemes.


In times of uncertainty, it is necessary to execute disruptive leadership that contributes to
thinking and acting differently, open to innovation that questions the form of conventional
execution, willing to discover trends and opportunities where others only observe limitations to the
achievement of the objectives set.
